The Most Beautiful Day of My Life (1995)

A good marriage photograph is a sold one. Yet, a large number of those images are never used and spend their life in boxes, turning yellow. Over the years tens of thousands of pictures accumulate, enough to fill a room. I was working in a photography studio that specialized in weddings and that’s where I began my collection.
Une bonne photographie de mariage est une photographie vendue. Pourtant une partie de la production ne trouve pas acquéreur et jaunit dans des cartons. Au cours des années ce sont des dizaines de milliers d’images – à remplir une pièce – qui s’accumulent. C’est dans le studio spécialisé où je travaillais que j’ai commencé ma collection.
